We will not provide your personal information to third parties unless with your permission. This privacy statement only applies to the services of Effectgroep. You should be aware that Effectgroep is not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites or social media that are accessible via a link on our websites. You are responsible for clicking on these buttons and disclosing your details.

Who are we?

We are effectgroep*: a full-stack communication agency. We are located at Van Deventerlaan 31-51 3528 AG in Utrecht. We are registered in the Trade Register with the Chamber of Commerce under number 30130048.

What personal data do we process? And why? And how long?

Below is an overview of which personal data we process for which purpose. Personal data may not be kept longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we received or collected the data and any legal obligations to keep data. The storage period is described for each purpose.

Our newsletter | Effectmail

You can subscribe to our monthly digital newsletter, Effectmail. To do so, we ask for your first name and email address. We send our newsletters via MailChimp. Click here to view MailChimp’s privacy policy.

We will retain your information for as long as you're subscribed. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email, or click here to opt out.

Personal Data

Your personal data is processed by us to enter into and execute agreements for our services and to manage the resulting relationships. We use GRIPP and PIPEDRIVE (CRM systems) to process the data filled in via contact forms, a contact/quote request by phone or email. When you share data with us via the above channels, you give us permission to approach you or send you targeted information.

Data that we process includes: name, company name, company address, telephone number, gender, e-mail, date of birth, position, bank details (if necessary for payment or security). If the personal data is not provided to us, we will not be able to contact you. We keep this data for a maximum of 5 years.

Job applications

By sending an application, you agree that your personal data will be processed by effectgroep*. This information will be treated confidentially by us and will only be used for the application process. We will not provide information to third parties unless we are required to do so by law. We keep the data during the recruitment and selection process. After the end of the recruitment and selection process, the data will be stored for 4 weeks in accordance with the application code, after which the data will be deleted. Unless we have explicitly asked for permission to keep your data longer in view of future employment opportunities, we will keep your data for a maximum of one year.

Freelancer

By sending a freelance application, you agree that your personal data will be processed by effectgroep*. This information will be treated confidentially by us and will only be used for the application process. We will not provide information to third parties unless we are required to do so by law. We keep the data for a freelance collaboration for a maximum of one year.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files sent to and stored on your device when you visit a website. These cookies may be placed by effectgroep* or by third parties we collaborate with (only with our consent). We use cookies to recognise you during future visits. They help us collect insights into how our services are used, allowing us to improve and tailor them to your preferences.

Data processing agreement

We have signed a processing agreement with all companies that process our data. This specifies, among other things, what the personal data may be processed for, what security measures must be taken and where the personal data is stored. It also states that the person who processes the data must deal with it confidentially and may not process it on their own initiative for a completely different purpose than that stated in the processing agreement. We only work with parties that we have carefully selected and with whom we have a good experience.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by effectgroep*, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we have about you in our file to you or another organization mentioned by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@effectgroep.nl. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than four weeks.
